The Surfer Competition gets its name for being the lead in to the City to Surf and our very own Lakes View CLassic. There was a time, before crippling insurance fees, when we had our own Town to Lake Fun Run. As with a lot of things, we make not break with tradition, but we can create new initiatives. The Surfer Competition starts out as a 6km run and then adds another two kilometers for the final few weeks.
