This drive is approximately 110 kms and takes in both sealed and unsealed roads. You can download the map as an A4 brochure to take with you on your journey.
The map and brochure provide all the information you will need for a great day. Take a picnic and spend some time in the hills. Just remember that water can be scarce and there are no provisions available outside of the City and villages.
Write back to GriffithGateway.com and tell us what you think of the drive.
The Griffith Historical Society has occassional guided expeditions over some of this drive. They are worthwhile expeditions that retrace the route of the old Cobb and Co roads from Whitton to Rankins Springs and beyond.
More drives to come.
